JUAREZ, CHIH – American Industries declared that it will allocate $150 million in 2023 to add 140 more hectares to its industrial land holdings in the northern part of Mexico. The investment will be directed towards the expansion of the Industrial Park situated in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

“This investment, expansion and development plan signifies that the company is ready to accommodate more foreign businesses looking for the availability of skilled labor, specialized security and appropriate infrastructure for their operations,” stated Aáron Gallo, Real Estate Director for American Industries Group.

Moreover, the Mexican industrial real estate company stated that the investment will be focused on the continuation of the projects initiated between 2021 and 2022. These projects are located in Chihuahua, covering 54 hectares, and in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, spanning 28 hectares, with a total of approximately two million square feet and 13 industrial buildings.

The company also declared that this year, it will concentrate on reducing its energy and water consumption, as well as constructing industrial buildings with eco-friendly certifications. Additionally, they will be searching for new industrial land reserves in the cities where they already have a presence, as well as investigating new regions in Mexico to set up more Industrial Parks.

The Mexican company has benefited from nearshoring, with a portfolio of over 140 industrial properties throughout Mexico, and a presence in 17 industrial parks in high-demand areas.
