Jiaxipera to invest US$60 million in Coahuila
RAMOS ARIZPE, COAH –Jiaxipera launched its Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila facility with a $60 million investment. The Chinese firm specializes in the production of high-efficiency refrigeration compressors and will generate 600 jobs in the state to produce 6 million compressors per year.
Coahuila Governor Miguel Àngel Riquelme Solís praised the skilled and diligent workforce of Coahuila who serve as an exemplary model in the region.
Jiaxipera’s General Manager, Haidong Jiang, highlighted the qualified labor force of the state and the positive rapport with the Coahuila government as key factors in the decision to invest in the region.
Governor Riquelme noted that Coahuila generated 6,380 new jobs in March, based on figures from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), and that as of 2023, 21,430 new jobs have been created in the state.
Mayor of Ramos Arizpe, José María Morales Padilla, credited Governor Riquelme’s economic and security policies for placing the municipality among the most crucial industrial and economic development areas in the country.
Jiaxipera’s Mexican plant is located in the Santa María Industrial Park, which belongs to the Davisa Group.
