DSV is expanding its operations in Nuevo León with a $30 million investment

Apodaca, Nuevo León – The Danish freight and logistics transport company, DSV, will build an 11,000 square meter facility, which is expected to be ready by July 2024. This will be the fourth facility in Nuevo León.

The facility covers 11,000 square meters, and DSV will invest $30 million in its construction. It is estimated to be completed by July 2024 and will create 350 new jobs.

This will be DSV’s third facility in the municipality of Apodaca, with another one in Ciénega de Flores.

In Mexico, the company owns 23 industrial buildings, totaling an area of 331,000 square meters. Globally, DSV operates a network of 400 warehouses with a capacity exceeding six million square meters.

“For DSV, it is essential to strengthen our presence in the logistics sector to be closer to our valuable customers. We are excited to announce our expansion in Nuevo León,” said Alejandro Munguía, Director of Operations at DSV Mexico.

“We appreciate our team at DSV Solutions and our partners, CPA and Citius Advisory Group, for their contribution in making this extraordinary project possible,” added Reyvid Villegas, President of DSV.

Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Secretary of State for Economic Development, highlighted that they have undertaken several trade missions to promote the advantages of establishing businesses in the state. “These missions have been fruitful: we have attracted 176 investment projects, including 92 new plants and 84 expansions.

These projects represent an investment of $27.147 billion and the potential creation of 110,498 new jobs, the state official added.

Nuevo León boasts the largest network of industrial parks, with over 240 in operation. Additionally, it has the most educated workforce in Mexico, a strategic geographical location near the United States, and is enhancing its road infrastructure and security to solidify the Port of Colombia as the safest and most efficient in the northern border region.
