Nissan Sentra 2024 is updated and doesn’t take long to arrive in Mexico with a fresh look and equipment adjustments.
The Nissan Sentra 2024 has reached the midpoint of its generational life, and as a result, they have released the update that will carry it through its final years before a complete overhaul. There are also changes in equipment and versions, giving us an idea of what to expect for Mexico.
While the Sentra is manufactured at Nissan’s plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico, this model will debut first in the United States, the country from which this information and images are presented.
In terms of appearance, we see a progression more similar to that of the Versa, in this case with an even larger V-shaped grille, redesigned headlights, and fascia. The rest of its appearance remains virtually the same, except for a slight change in the shape of the signature light in the taillights.
In the United States, starting from the base version, all Sentras will come with the brand’s advanced driver assistance suite, including emergency autonomous braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
Depending on the version, it can come with 16″ to 18″ wheels in single or dual-tone. The SR version will feature orange accents in the interior for a more attractive touch. Apart from that, it still maintains the 8-inch infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, synthetic leather or fabric seats, sunroof, center screen instrument cluster, reverse camera, among other features.
Under the hood, Nissan retains the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It will produce 149 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque coupled with a CVT transmission. Nissan claims to have made adjustments to the engine to make it more efficient; however, they have not specified fuel consumption.
The Nissan Sentra will begin sales in the United States in the summer. For Mexico, it could be expected towards the end of the year or during the first three months of 2024. Until then, we will learn the details of equipment, versions, and pricing for our market.
