PARIS – María Eugenia Campos, the governor of Chihuahua, revealed a $13.5 million investment by Regal Rexford, a U.S. corporation.

With this infusion of funds, the multinational enterprise envisions generating 240 fresh employment opportunities, utilizing a 125,000 square foot industrial facility situated in the second phase of the Bafar Technological Park.

This announcement took place amid the governor’s official trip to Paris, France, where she is currently participating in the Paris Air Show 2023 Aerospace Exhibition.

Campos Galván conducted a meeting with Jamie Quilter, the Vice President and General Manager of Rexnord Corporation’s Consumer and Aerospace Sector.

Following the meeting, the governor and the company’s executive disclosed particulars regarding the commencement of the corporation’s activities in Chihuahua.

It is important to note that in 2021, the corporation commenced its exploration of suitable locations in Mexico to establish its presence and ultimately selected the capital of Chihuahua as the optimal investment destination.

This enterprise specializes in the production of connection mechanisms for aircraft and helicopter stabilizers, which serve as vital components ensuring flight safety, employing cutting-edge materials and specialized procedures.

The local consulting firm Prodensa will be responsible for providing support to this new undertaking, particularly concerning the real estate required for the North American company’s factory and corporate offices.
