AntexTextil has allocated over US$23 million in Tlaxcala.

TLAXCALA – The governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, paid a visit to the premises of AntexTextil, a Spanish firm situated in Ciudad Industrial Xicohténcatl (CIX) III, in the municipality of Tlaxco.

During the visit, the governor was accompanied by Javier Marroquín Calderón, the Secretary of Economic Development (Sedeco), as well as the company’s executives, Ángel Hereu Tarrés and José Manuel Pombo.

It’s worth noting that AntexTextil has channeled more than US$23 million into the region throughout 2022 and the initial half of 2023, thus showcasing its dedication to the state.

The governor reaffirmed her commitment to providing all the necessary support for facilitating the company’s growth and advancement within the area.

Javier Marroquín Calderón, the head of Sedeco, emphasized AntexTextil’s steadfast dedication to Tlaxcala since 2011, creating employment opportunities and contributing to the state’s economic development. The governor’s visit was vital in gaining insight into internationally renowned companies based in the state and reinforcing Tlaxcala’s status as an appealing destination for industrial investments.

AntexTextil is a company that operates in Spain, Mexico, and Brazil, specializing in the production of synthetic yarns for the automotive sector, as well as the clothing and footwear industries.

Tlaxcala stands out as the sole Mexican state to receive investments from this prominent company, solidifying its position as a hub for regional economic development.
