QUERETARO – Bosch Rexroth unveiled its newly established facility in Pedro Escobedo, Queretaro, after investing a substantial sum of US$251 million, with plans to generate 900 job opportunities.

Spanning across an expansive area of 42,000 square meters, the plant will engage in the production of hydraulic pumps for mobile machinery and implement linear motion technology catering to mechanical engineering applications within the manufacturing and factory automation sectors.

This significant investment will equip the company with enhanced capacity to effectively address the escalating demands of the mobile hydraulic systems and factory automation markets in North America, while concurrently minimizing delivery distances.

The commencement of this modernized manufacturing unit further consolidates Bosch Rexroth’s presence in North America, empowering them to deliver a more streamlined and efficient service experience for their valued clientele.

Reinhard Schaefer, a Board of Directors member at Bosch Rexroth responsible for manufacturing and quality, elucidated that the organization’s strategy of localization bolsters the capacity, flexibility, and resilience of its supply chains.

Moreover, Schaefer emphasized that this facility will play a pivotal role in curbing the CO2 emissions associated with the region’s manufacturing inputs, owing to the reduced transportation routes.
